The handbook reflects policies, procedure and guidance for the supported lodgings Service. It has been written in an accessible way to help you understand the sort of things that your supported lodgings Service requires of you. It has been designed for new and existing supported lodgings hosts and deals with the day to day practicalities you may face.

Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023
Department for Education Guidance on Providing Supported Accommodation for Children and Young People - guide to the Regulations on providing supported accommodation for children and young people. It includes the Quality Standards that all supported accommodation providers must meet.
Guidance: Introduction to Supported Accommodation - what providers need to know about registering with Ofsted and running or closing a supported accommodation service.
You will play an important role in the lives of looked after young people placed with you, so it is important that you have the necessary tools to support you with this task. This handbook is one of these tools alongside the many professionals you will work with including your Supervising Worker.
